How do I quit or force apps to close on my iPad?
Ever had an app freeze or quit on you before? Not to fret - just like on your Mac, there is an easy way to force quit a frozen or unresponsive app on your iPad or iPhone.
To force quit/close an iOS app:
- Double click the home button on your iPad or iPhone. This will display all apps that are currently "open" or running on your device.
- Swipe left or right to find the app you want to close.
- Swipe UP on the app's preview to close the app.
- Reopen the app.
